This year just zoomed by so fast! I just thought I’d take a moment to jot down a few things that happened this year just so we can have to pass on to our kids.

It started in January with Brian changing jobs which has truly been a blessing in more ways than one from God! He is now right in our town and no more commutes to work. He enjoys working with the family business and his own web design business as well.

Gregory started baseball on a real team in March. He was on the Dodgers and was thrilled about that! He loved playing baseball. It was extra special because his two best friends were on his team!! We enjoyed watching him play at all his games

We used our season passes to Disneyland a few times and had so much fun! Adam is actually growing a little taller and can ride splash mtn with us! Side note on Adam he actually likes salad now! He’s much better at eating and trying new things than his big brother!

Had a great Vacation Bible School in June at our church! Brian also celebrated the big 30!

In July Gregory turned EIGHT! We also traveled to Idaho. We went through AZ, and Utah going up and through Oregon going back. It was a fun trip and we had a blast staying with our good friends!!

Gregory Started THIRD grade in August. He does really well in school and enjoys playing at recess. Adam started his 2nd year of preschool. This year going M, W, F from 9-12pm. He loves school! In Aug we found out we were pregnant with number #3 and we were ecstatic! Spring turned 30 in Aug as well.

In September Brian and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. We went to Ojai for a day out and a nice dinner. That same week we lost our third baby due to a miscarriage. It was very shocking and very sad. Still hard to think about now! God carried us through and helps us each day! Adam got to start his second year in Awana Cubbies this year. He absolutely loves Cubbies

October the boys had a wonderful 2 week break and we always love when we have School breaks! Time for family fun!

Adam turned the BIG 5 in November and loved his Batman party. At the end of this month we found out we were pregnant again and were thrilled for God’s blessing.

Beginning of December brought us sadness again because we lost the baby. We were hoping to spread the great baby news on Christmas but we weren’t able too. We didn’t even tell you Boys, we figured we would wait until you are older. Brian and I look forward to one day meeting those two sweet babes in heaven! This Christmas was Daddy and Mommies 10th Christmas as a married couple! It was such a wonderful Christmas. The cooler weather and rain was such a blessing. Boys, you wanted snow real bad but at least we got some rain!

As I reflect back on 2008 I see God’s hand in everything. That is the best thing about knowing Him. He’s always there. Through the good and the bad. I’m looking forward to a 2009.
