I am thankful for so many things, Jesus, Mike, Brayden, my family, my friends and to live in America!
It’s easy to be thankful for the big things, but one of the little things I am thankful for is always being able to have clean clothes. It’s something I dont think about often, especially when I am folding or putting away the laundry ;), but its such a blessing to be able to wash our clothes and not have to wear the same dirty ones over and over again like a lot of people do in third world countries!
I agree Laura… it is easy to think of the BIG things but those little things get taken for granted all the time! I am thankful for our washer too 🙂 Our car, our house, bed, blankets. We’ve all been jotting down lots of things on our thankful chart at home…. we’ll have to share that soon 🙂
I am soooo thankful to have older kids now. I can’t believe how much fun it is to do kooky things like try on imitation designer sunglasses with my girls. Or go get Hot chocolate from Starbucks and have our hair cut together. I am loving this stuff.
I am thankful for so many things…the new house Brian and I are buying, all of my family, my friends and like you guys said those other things that we so often overlook and can take for granted like having enough food and I can even be thankful for my bills that come because I am blessed with the money to pay them 🙂 At work we are putting up what everyone is thankful for and when they asked me I started listing the things I just said and then I said well I’m thankful for everything because there is so much to be thankful for that I didn’t want to leave anything or anyone out 😉
Another thing we NEVER say we are thankful for are TRIALS that God allows us to go through….. really its all for good (for those who love God and know Him). We grow through them and he uses them for good.

Everything good. Because all good things come from the Lord. Praise Him for His good mercy, His good sacrifice, His good gifts in family and friends.

When I get home from a hard day’s work and I get to cuddle with my son (and hubby), I feel truly blessed.
