Adam turns FIVE

Adam we can’t believe you are FIVE years old today. Seems like just yesterday you were in my tummy and I was hoping you would come before Thanksgiving! YOU did! We were all so excited to have you become a part of our family. Daddy and I prayed that we would have you for over a year and 1/2, and were sooo excited when we found out we were pregnant with YOU! Just can’t believe how fast those FIVE years have gone! You are such a joy to us and we love you so much!

Now at five:
you still have the cutest SMILE when you do smile. Daddy thinks you smile like me. You are very serious though too (like Mommy) and it takes a bit to get you to laugh (just like me)! You are my sweet cuddle bug. You love to tell me that you LOVE me, just out of the blue and that always makes my day! You love for me to snuggle up and lay with you for nap time. Yes, you still nap most days 12:30 until 2 or 3 pm. Although some days you don’t, but I always make you rest! You really like preschool 3 days a week. Your teacher says you pretty much get a long with everyone and will play with everyone. No “BEST” friends. You seem to like everyone in your class. Something kind of funny about you, is that you are sort of “out in space” sometimes! We look at you and you could be a million miles away, and we have to bring you back to earth!! Its sort of funny, except when we are trying to explain something to you and you aren’t really all there! You love to make-believe and wish your brother Gregory would play more with you! You try to get “into” the sports stuff with him but still love to just play with your “guys” or out in the tree-house, or ride bikes. Your favorite foods are Bologna and cheese. You could eat cheese everyday if we would let you. Although, you really like a lot of foods. Told me the other day that you like all the foods, but not salad. You love to “read” or have me or Daddy or Gregory read to you. You can’t seem to go to bed without a story, which we do almost every night anyway.

Our prayer for you:
Is that God would work in you, (even now), so that you will come to know HIM as Lord and Savior one day. That you will grow up knowing and loving God with all your heart, soul and mind! We pray that one day you will be a truly great man of God and that God will use you in Mighty ways!

I love you so much Adam James Kraft! You are my sweet baby and I can’t believe you are FIVE YEARS OLD TODAY!
