I haven’t been able to Post about this yet.
Luke lost yet another friend just last week.
Henny Penny. The little hen that Santa brought him to be a companion for Girl last Dec. She was never my favorite and never measured up to Girl but Luke loved and cared for her! The night Luke was sick he didn’t go out to lock her coop. Brian and I went out. No Henny Penny. We spend 30 min searching for her in the dark. No luck. This has happened before so we were sure she would be back in the morning. Not! We found feathers on the front lawn the next morning. I think a Hawk got her early evening, before we even realized she was missing.
Telling Luke was TOUGH!
He had stayed out of school because he wasn’t feeling well. He was devastated. He went to his room and wanted to be alone. Then he climbed out his window and I noticed him just sitting and starring off in the back yard.
His poor heart! He’s lost so much in LESS than a years time!

Seems like a lot for a 5 year old! Maybe God is working his heart over for some AWESOME purpose!
I do know that Pop’s death has been a key influence to bring Luke to the Lord. Luke claims to KNOW Jesus!
Since Kinder he has been doing LOTS of drawing! I LOVE IT!!!!!! Gregory used to do this for me and I have MISSED IT! So fun getting lots of drawings. He includes lots of animals normally and POP is in a lot of them! This one he had to add the prayer rocks to our hands and even the squirrels hands.
I didn’t realize he knew much about the prayer rocks. I can’t wait to share more with him about that!
