Grieving is tough! And this is the first time someone so close has passed away.  Pop is missed so much! A good friend told us of a thereputic thing to do is to write feelings on rocks and go throw them in the riverbed.  

 I told the boys to yell out their feelings as they THROW THE ROCKS! They did! This was really good for Luke especially.  I think Adam wanted to keep doing it too.  We also told them to yell out things they would MISS doing with Pop.  I cried when I heard Luke.  He’s gonna miss Survivor Man and Nut cracking and chicken stuff.

 This grieving stuff is hard!
Tears come and go…..
It all still feels so UNREAL
Pop is gone….. Really?!?

 Annie Mae slept in the car while we throw rocks.  The other boys stayed in the car too!
