Seems like time goes faster with having more kids. Love them all and we are enjoying life and enjoying seeing where God is taking each of us! Looking forward to cooler weather. The mornings and evenings have been nice!
I’m going through CHILDREN OF THE DAY by Beth Moore and its been a really good study for me. I love having a daily assignment and really striving to stay in the word and prayer daily. When I don’t things seem to turn upside down it seems. Brian is really enjoying the convicting Men’s study as well. Its called Crazy Love but Fransis Chan. He’s told me a lot about it and it sounds awesome!
Awana is going well in Moorpark. Its small but our boys are enjoying it. Gideon is going to Cubbies with Luke this year. He’s really doing a great job participating. We’ve seen a lot of growth in Gideon lately.
Since his dental procedure, Gideon seems much happier and loving. He’s FULL of cuddles for Mommy and Daddy lately. I think there was some nerve pain before the dental stuff. They told us that he since he breathes through his mouth that is causing DRY mouth which can cause decay. They also said genetics and the fact that he’s on keppra twice a day! During the procedure they noticed that his tonsils were super large! They suggested we take them out when we do tubes and adenoids. Brian and I need to listen to his breathing at night and see how restless he sleeps. They think he’s not getting adequete rest. He went back in for blood test (which he is braver than me at) to see how those PT levels are (has something to do with him not bleeding so much if we did the surgery). Haven’t heard back on if those levels are normal or not yet. If they are then we will try to move forward with the tubes, adenoids, and tonsils. Gideon is loving school. Hasn’t been one tear yet!
Adam is taking part in the Music Worship workshop at Lewis Music Academy. There he gets to try out lots of instruments and sing as well. In December he will get to be a part of a little concert. He’s got some talent. Now to keep up on the practice would be great!
Baby Girl. Still so odd to say that! Is growing like a weed and moving a lot more now. Although the movements are much more mellow than any of the 5 boys! So exciting. I have to admit I’m a bit nervous too, to have a girl. Why? I don’t know! I think because I only KNOW boys! ha ha!
Luke is still being pretty protective of GIRL since the passing of Roostew. Its sweet and sad all at the same time. We continue to search for a little friend for Girl.
I didn’t go on the Women’s Retreat this weekend. However, I was truly blessed getting to be home with my family. Brian and I had a wonderful date out yesterday. Saw a movie and went to dinner and did some shopping.
Today I stayed home from church alone. I have had the most quiet time. Working on Bible study, listened to a sermon, and getting a change to do a few computer things.
We have been working hard (mostly BRIAN) at getting the Family room set up with a desk and moving things around. We wanted to get the computer out of our bedroom and out where all the kids can use it more. We decided to purchase a MacBook Pro for the family and my photo business. My laptop was going out and our main computer was just starting to mess up again. We have been talking about doing this for a while. Its a HUGE investment and a HUGE learning curve. We got one yesterday. I’m super excited to learn it and have something that WORKS a little smoother for my editing and photo books that I make. It will be a blessing for years to come for the kids too. Now, to just be able to learn it all. We will continue on with the family room projects. Next up is making a “lego station”. We need more organization for the boys Lego’s. We are still brainstorming and hopefully will come up with something shortly.
I continue to work with Simply Spring Photography. I’d like to have 2-3 jobs a month once my Children’s Director position is over in December. We shall see how that all works out. Brian continues to work with Organic Ag and strives to build up his Computer business. He would love to see that booming a bit more as well.
Gregory is doing great in school. Very on top of his school work. Hard worker and very determined. I love his “work ethic” attitude. He’s always helpful too with his little brothers. Football is going well for him even though play time is little it seems. He says he will play more next year and that he has to work hard to earn his spot.
Adam continues to strive hard at FCA. He loves going there! Its been a blessing for him. This year he works with a few people on homework and other things. Granma on Monday’s and Mrs. Shuck has been a blessing this year too. She gets him on Thursdays. They got to dinner and work on homework or studying for the many tests he has at FCA and they also work on Awana verses.
Titus is just waddling around everywhere now. He brings us all smiles! He loves loves his blankies. He’s now sleeping all night in with Adam. His favorite things now are STUFFED ANIMALS. Santa is going to bring him a big stuffed dog this year.
