Gregory was so cute playing in his FIRST GAME last night. I was so glad I got his block on VIDEO!! It was really neat that he got to go in and play. Freshman don’t get as much “play time”. It was fun being in the stands for the FLASHES!!
Gregory is really doing well in High school. Got bumped up to HONORS math and all his other classes are Honors too and he’s taking Spanish. He got an A plus on his FIRST English test. I’m just blown away at all this kid keeps up with. School, football, practice, ASB, helping at home, and youth group. Love this guy and will share pics soon!
Been very busy with Gideon lately! His first week of school was really great. NO TEARS. ALL SMILES. However, his hearing is still not so great. We took him in. His tubes aren’t down where they are suppose to be, fluid in ears, and he’s hearing at a level 35 when most people hear at 15. We meet next week with the ENT to talk about what to do next. He also has a dentist appt again to see what to do about his tooth with the cavity. We also have the neurologist appt set up for the 16th. Let’s just say I’m ready for dr. appts to be over for a while and for all the “gideon stuff” to calm down!
Titus ………… he thinks he’s BIG stuff walking all over now. He’s getting better and better all the time. He’s the sweetest most cuddliest little guy ever. I could just rock and snuggle him all day long if I could! He’s doing better sleeping more hours at night this week. Waking at 6ish to nurse and snuggle with us.
Adam is loving his school. Its tough and he’s got to work hard to keep up and on task. Its a constant challenge for him but he seems to be TRYING more. We are still doing counseling which has been a true blessing for our family. Brian and I are learning so much about parenting and being consistent and true to God’s Word. I can’t say its all been easy because frankly it HAS NOT. We’ve struggled with so many things with changes we have made to just keeping up with little assignments Jeff gives us to work on. Adam is still enjoying his time on thursdays with Mrs Shuck. They meet at the library for working on homework and Awana verses. Then they go to dinner together. Sweetest thing! Love that lady! She’s so sweet with Adam!
Brian and I are very much looking forward to getting out for an afternoon on our anniversary coming up. We decided to use the money we would spend to go overnight to get tickets to a play in December. We are going to see WICKED in hollywood. I’m excited.
We will be getting our new roof for the house soon! We did a refinance on the house and got some money from the equity on the house to pay off our bills and pay for the roof. Feels good to have it all paid off! Hopefully in Feb we will get all the boys set up with some investments. Gregory and Adam have savings and Luke a little bit. I’d like to get all the boys set up with something. Brian has a plan in all this so we think by Feb we will have something for each of the kids.
I’m loving the idea of having a girl. I’m still somewhat in shock actually but still excited. I love a certain name and Brian is coming around to the idea. Its unique. I think anyway. Luke Samuel said it tonight and was super cute.
Luke still LOVES Girl so much! He came out with her the other day with a ruler and told me she is 12 months. Ha ha! He’s a cutie pie and loves school and his new homework. He naps with me daily on my bed still, after we play a game of spot it or read a book.
