Dodger Game

Gregory and I went to the Dodgers game for his birthday present.  It had been at least 2 years since the last time we had been to Dodger Stadium.  The stadium did look nicer than I remembered so it was nice to have the new ownership upgrade some things.  I had a good laugh at the cell phone charging station that was setup near the entry gates.  Times have certainly changed.

This was the view from our seats.  The game was very quick as Kershaw and Gallardo are both good pitchers, Kershaw of course, much better.  The Brewers scored first in the top of the 4th when Ryan Braun took Kershaw deep for a two-run home run to right field.  The Dodgers came back with a run in the bottom of the inning on a one out single from Justin Turner, but Turner was thrown out at second and the Dodgers rally ended there.  The Brewers tacked on another run in the sixth on a solo home run from Carlos Gomez that went deep into the Dodgers bullpen.  That was the rest of the scoring until the bottom of the ninth when Kemp hit a blast just inside the foul pole in left field.  So the Dodgers were down 3-2 with nobody out.  But, the next three batters quickly got out and that was the game.

Got this picture as we were leaving the stadium.  It was about 11:15.  We had stayed after the game to watch the movie The Natural which was showed on the jumbo screens.  I enjoyed the movie, but it sure went late.

Sure looks like you guys had a great time, even though they lost.
