Gideon hospital

Gideon is home and doing well!!! Praising God. A couple weeks ago we had quite the ordeal.
An ultra sound showed fluid in the bottom right area of his stomach.  We all were thinking appendix.  Rushed him to the ER at CMH.  What a JOKE the ER was! Holding my limp baby boy and shoved in a hallway.  Didn’t feel like we were much of a priority at all.  Finally they saw to us and ended up doing a CT SCAN (which later we realized was unnecessary and he shouldn’t have been exposed to radiation and they didn’t even give him the drink to help show things inside).  They also perscribed a tablet medication to help with cramping.  According to our pediatrician no child should ever be put on that.  Some pretty serious side effects.   Thankfully Gideon didn’t have any that we know of.  We were released with the results of ENTERITIS (an inflammation of the intestine).  It can be extremely painful (and it was for him).  Dr. Gold called and wasn’t happy with the ER diagnosis and wanted us to be seen by a pediatric surgeon in Santa Barbara.  We went.  It actually was Enteritis but that can often mimic apendisitis as well.  He was also not happy with what went on at the ER.
We plan to write a letter expressing our concern to what went on with us and our Gideon.

Granma gave him a scentsy spider.  He was overjoyed with this fun little buddy.

For naps he needed Mommy THIS CLOSE.

We heard the pain was like LABOR pains.  Poor Gideon.
