First and Last days of school

First and lasts are always hard for a Mom! Maybe some Mom’s more than others?! For me, its always tough.  First day in the crib, first crawl, first foods and then all the lasts.  Today was the boys LAST day of this school year.  Its exciting to have them home for Summer and the break from getting ready to go in the morning.  Its exciting to see them so excited to just get to relax in the morning and get to run and play all day.
Its just a little sad too though, thinking of it being the LAST day for Gregory in 7th grade.  One more year left in middle school and then he will be in HIGH SCHOOL!? What? That is just crazy! And our sweet Adam last day in 3rd grade! His RUSHING all year to get there by 7:30 AM so he could get a basketball court.  It used to be Gregory and Adam rushing to get the court.  This year Adam was all about getting there to get out and play before the bell rang to start the school day.  This is his last day ever at SESPE school.  Brian works right across the street so its been a blessing having them so close.  Next year Adam will go to school in the school they are building in the riverbed.  I’m not sure when the Sespe school will open back up.  I was HOPING for Luke for Kindergarten.
They have grown so much as you can see from the post below! Not just physically though.  Grown so much in what they have learned this year.  They are both good students at school and work really hard! I’m very proud of them both.  Not just academically but for the way they live.  They let their light shine for Jesus.  Love these boys!
Looking forward to a Summer filled with fun, relaxing and a new boy to add to the bunch!
