I love making my kids cakes.  I really have fun with it.  This year it was just so busy with Adam’s Party and then we did Disneyland for two days.  I took my Mom’s advise and went to this little shop that had a bunch of chicken things.  I had in mind for him to choose a couple little chickens for the top of his cake.  However, the only one he found that looked like “girl” was this big hen! He was oh so proud of his hen.  I figured it cost less than the cake pan I was going to have to buy so I gave in.  Figured I’d plop it on top of his chocolate (his choice) cake.
