I
know I say this all the time, but really with each child it seems these
wee baby years go by in a flash! Seems like only yesterday Brian and I
were talking about how much Gideon needed to be HELD so much and we
wondered if he was ever gonna like his bouncy seat or be happy in his
swing! That first month was an adjustment and now looking back, wow did it ever go so fast! It was fun clicking on Gideon Josiah on the blog and looking back through this year with him.
I
can remember calling up the midwife and searching and asking questions
ON MY DUE date. I wasn’t feeling comfortable with my Dr. wanting to
induce labor just because it was my “due date”. The constant nagging
about that was bothering us. To think that I was actually going to
switch Drs or even consider going a different route to birth this baby?!
We are so glad we did. A week after we met Renee and Robyn we gave
birth to little Gideon Josiah. Such a sweet baby boy!

Gideon has been through so much for a small little guy! All the seizures in Jan and Feb and being in the hospital, and all the dr. appts. It was a lot! He’s doing so much better. God is good!. We are so incredibly greatful for how God carried us through that tough time and for how he cared for our little guy and for how he still cares for him and all of us!

To our sweet Gideon Josiah, we thank the Lord for you and pray that he helps you grow big and strong. We pray that one day you will know God and desire to have a relationship with Him. Love you baby boy!
