Can you believe it??

Well…. we have a kitty. Sort of. Aren’t sure what we are going to do right now. This morning as Spring was on her way to take Adam to school they heart a faint “meow”. Listened a bit and then went on their way. Tonight as we were all playing outside…. we heard it again. Brian thought for sure it was a baby kitten. We followed the meow all over the orchard and came back to our HONEYSUCKLE out front. Sure enough he/she was stuck up in the honeysuckle. The boys wanted to rescue her. We did and now she has the name “Honeysuckle.” Spring totally not the animal lover (especially cats!) isn’t sure about keeping it. Though we do have a mice/ rat problem and we don’t want to use poison due to having chickens….. so this might be the answer!? Adam is in love with her! As you can tell…..
What do you think? PLEASE VOTE on our poll at the right!!

For now she’s scared and in our laundry room, keeps climbing back in the wall.

Honeysuckle is so cute! I hope she warms up to you guys, but I’m sure she will…especially if she keeps getting all that love from Adam! That picture is too cute…he is such the animal lover isn’t he!

I hope you guys decide to keep her!! 🙂

How adorable!!! I am so glad that you found her before things got really bad for her. My insticts say keep her, but you will decide what is best for your family. She probably won’t mess with the chickens….they are big enough that they will kick her booty.

I’ve decided there is at least one animal lover in each little branch of our family, and Adam is definietely the one in the Kraftygang branch! I of course, would love to see you guys keep the little girl, but I agree with Shannon too! Keep us posted! She’s so cute!

I think the kitten is cute…but remember they grow up and will you like it then? I guess I just know how you feel about animals so not sure if you would be happy having one. Keep us posted.

Keep her as an outside cat. =0) That’s our vote….assuming she won’t try to get your chickens one day.

Too cute. I hope Adam gets to keep the sweetie! Leia was jumping up and down…she LOVES cats. It definitely is a good way to handle the mice and rats without the poison. I tried to vote but the poll was “not available”…my vote is yes…if it is okay with Mommy that is! Tee Hee

I’m sending this not to be a “wet blanket” but if you do keep the kitty and it is an outside cat, please be aware that any wild animals (coyotes especially) will be very interested in eating it. We had that happen with Sylvester, our long time outdoor cat and it can be very devastating. You’ll need to be sure and keep her contained until she is big enough to fend for herself. Donna
