A loooooong day today! Started at 9:00 on our way to TO for a 2nd eye appt. for Gregory. Basically the dr. said the same thing but did say his eyes were slightly better than what Davidson said. Also, he doesn’t think Gregory would become legally blind. So that was nice to hear. He did mention we could possibly strengthen his left eye by using the patch and glasses, however that would be pretty hard at school. We looked at glasses there at the Dr. but they were gonna be around $300. They were really cool though (bendable, and comfy). We went down the street to Lens Crafters and found some for $155. He really wanted BLUE glasses, so that is what he picked. He seems happy with them.We think he looks pretty spiffy in his new glasses. Later we found out Hope could have got us $100 off the other pair (since she used to work there…. oh well… he’ll grow and we’ll need more). We got home at 3:30. A long day. Adam and Gregory were both pooped, so was Mommy!!
As far as playing sports (he wants to do Baseball) he can take them off if he wants to. He was thankful for that. Otherwise he is suppose to keep them on all the time, except when he’s sleeping.
Oh my…that was a long day!! I am glad to hear that the second Dr had better things to say. I love the glasses and that’s great he found some in Dodger blue 😉 Love you guys!
