Gregory just finished one of the boxcar children books (chapter book) and took a test on it today and he got 100% We were actually surprised thinking that the comprehension wouldn’t be as good for it being his first chapter book, on his own! We didn’t help him at all. We could have read some to him, but didn’t this time, since we read other books together. Now he came home with another one (one that his Aunt Hope gave him). As soon as they finish a book, they test on it and move on to the next book. He sure enjoys reading. He still gets up every morning and reads his Bible (all on his own too). He’s pretty excited about his test today. We were too!

Way to go Gregory! I definitely remember 2nd grade as being one of those times where I started to read like crazy! I couldn’t get my hands on enough books 🙂

I know I read probably all of The Babysitters Club books, but Laura I don’t recall passing them on to you at all, maybe I was off playing with Rachel while you were reading them…
