Update Gregory’s glasses

We went for his second appt. today. Saw the pediatric eye Dr. this time. He said if he had seen Gregory at age three he would have put Gregory in glasses and it most likely would have corrected his problem. But since he didn’t get started on glasses early it looks like he’ll be wearing them all the time. He said the glasses were really helping though because he could see improvements. Although, he had to up the prescription some to help Gregory get the best clearest vision possible. So we had to go get more lens, thankfully they didn’t charge us this time even though it had past the 90 day mark!!

Gregory doesn’t seem to mind his glasses at all and in fact I don’t have to remind him to wear them. We did ask if he can leave them off when he’s on the field playing football and the Dr. said that would be OK, but for the most part he needs to wear them.

I had to get a prescription increase too!!! My eyes are getting pretty bad! Gotta go in and get my contacts and new lenses soon!

I’m glad he has adjusted to the glasses so well. My vision wasn’t that bad when I first got glasses, but it is getting to the point where I think I’m going to have to go and get some Rx sunglasses as well for the summer so I can see while I’m driving!

I’ve got 20/15 vision (better than perfect) when I have my glasses on 😉 My Dr. told me that and I though it was funny!
