Bus “Adventure”

Gregory came off the buss so upset! Some kid had taken his little green basketball. He tried to get it back from them but they were hiding it from him. He came home in tears and telling me the whole story. Very sad! So I went and got Adam up from his nap, we all hopped in the car and chased down the buss. Speeding along our street, we finally caught up with the buss. I honked and got out quick before she left to make more drop-offs. She had the ball in hand. Said that Gregory had dropped it. She didn’t know the whole story, so we told her and she was glad to know, so she could talk with the kid on the buss that was causing the problem. I discussed with Gregory the importance of letting the buss driver know when things happen. If he had, she could have got the ball from him before he hopped of the buss, and also discipline him.

Gregory was thrilled to have the ball back!

Way to go Spring!!! You’re one tough momma 🙂 I’m glad Gregory got his ball back and sure hope that boy or boys get a talking to! I don’t understand why kids are so mean to each other it is just ridiculous!

  2. Go, Mom, go! Poor Gregory…yeah, I don’t understand some kids either….they’re always gonna be around though, unfortunately. It’s sure tough to stand up for yourself sometimes to other kids, or grown ups too. You guys are doing a great job!
