Something we are doing that will be sort of fun for the month of November is sharing as a family what we are thankful for, but not only that, but sharing who GOD IS…. Here is a picture of our blank paper.

We will spend the month writing down words and drawing pictures that illustrate the many qualities of God (& share what we are thankful for). Using a concordance, we will work together in the evenings to locate a verse that supports what we have written. (Ex. God is creator…. we would look up something in Genesis , read it together and jot it down under the drawing). We told the boys that we hope this paper is overflowing at the end of the month, so much so that we have to get a second one! This is just a fun way for us to talk about the Lord more often. Last year we did the THANKFUL TURKEY which is totally cute but we wanted to do something MORE this year, to really get the boys thinking of who GOD IS!
