The Train Project is moving along very well. We are actually finished with all of the track layout and are now going to lay the gravel and then we will begin to build the scenery including the mountains, tunnels, water, roads, buildings, and other cool stuff. I don’t think I have ever actually completed a layout including scenery so this will be fun for me as well as the boys. I’m looking forward to seeing how it will look in the end.

The white stuff you see is actually foam. It is a special product for building slopes on the train set. Slopes are normally difficult especially around turns. These sets of foam were inexpensive and made the job MUCH easier.

A couple pictures of our trains that we have for now. The boys I think will be asking Santa for more trains for them to play with.
