Serv Pro came out today. They are the company that cleaned up the mold we had a few years ago. Basically didn’t seem really worried about the basement except for a couple things. This leaves me feeling at ease but also a bit confused since the mold inspectors did this whole thing a few years ago and found the mold etc… Although the guy isn’t saying we don’t have mold, he just didn’t seem as concerned as I thought he might be (which I’m thankful for).

Basically he said we need to get rid of the cabinet we have down there and the wood work around the water heater because both have the bad mold like the really bad stuff… not sure what he called it. We have to go to Home Depot and get this spray called KILLS, stuff that kills and settles the mold , otherwise when he goes to tear apart the wood it makes the mold more airborne and makes it bad for us to breathe in.

Me the boys will not be around when he’s doing all this. He will bag it up and throw it out. We then have to spray bleach to kill everything.

Thankfully the cesspool hasn’t backed up again!! Surprised but thankful.

We hope to hear some news this week. We got word that our offer might be with an asset manager. Once that happens the listing agent may actually have a person to talk with and get more details on if our offer is accepted or about how long we are looking at. We are hoping to hear this week.
