We went to sign the loan documents this morning at 11:00. Ten minutes before we were at the title office, they called to tell us there was not a notary present and for us to come back later. Eventually, they offered a mobile notary to come later today and considering the inconvenience they already caused us, we took it. They also told us that we will not close Monday, because the seller still has not signed all of his paperwork. All this time has gone by, and we are just finding out today that the seller has not finished their part.

They said it would most likely be Tuesday instead. However, I think we get the hint now that this will take quite some time. We are hopeful to close by next Friday, but even that might be too optimistic. We understand these things can have hitches and take time, but we have been told all week, just one more day, one more day, one more day….
