We finally closed escrow today after three months of waiting. Within an hour of close we were at the house hard at work. Spring was in the back with the boys pulling weeds and Brian, Levi, and Viktor were in the house chipping out ceramic tile. The tile is about half-way done and there is plenty more to do.
We are so blessed by the Lord to have this house and we give all the praise to Him! We look forward (I think) to more work ahead and for certain to get the whole project done and be moved in.

When we moved into our house we had those same giant ugly curtain valances! We still haven’t redone the ceilings so there is a big line where they used to be. We also had to tear out all the floor and under the first layer of linoleum was TWO other layers of 1970’s golden looking linoleum tile stuff that was completely glued down. I think that was the hardest work of our lives getting that stuff up. Good luck with all your new homeowner adventures!

That is really great that you don’t have to move in right away. It is so much easier to get work done on a place when you are not living in it.
