I didn’t gain much weight at all this time around! Wahoooo! Dr. wants me to do some more blood sugar testing just to be sure all is ok with that (since I was on Metphormin prior to getting pregnant which had to do with my insulin being out of whack.. & some other issues) So far all my blood sugar testing has been fine though, so I really don’t think there is problem at all! She just wants to be sure.
We are thinking this baby will come early 🙂 The dr. kind of thinks so too. However, only the good Lord knows for sure!
She does deliver 90% of her patients baby’s which was re-assuring to me, cause I really wanted her to deliver and not someone I don’t know! So hopefully it won’t be one of those rare occasions where she isn’t around when I go into labor!
She did mention if the due date comes and the baby is measuring big she would want to induce. However, I’m thinking we won’t do that. We’ll probably wait it out and have him come when he’s ready! Next appt will be Oct 16th and then I have to start going in once a week.
The boys came with us tonight. We just had a nice family night. Went to SALS in Oxnard after the appt. That was soooo yummy! Gregory loved his huge taco, and actually ate most of it!! Daddy finished the rest off. We didn’t have one bit of leftovers. I think we were all pretty hungry tonight! Then made a run to K-mart to get a few things and we had a GREAT time of worship together as a family on the way home…. singing worship songs!!
Once we got home got the kids in bed by 7:30, since its “walk to school day” tomorrow!
I'm so glad to hear eveything is going great – and that you didn't let the Dr. get to you about the "big baby" deal. Sheila had the same thing happen. They induced her 2 weeks early, and Dylan was only a 6 pounder! That's such a common story! Stand your ground, Mama! It's best for you and baby!
