We’ve been working all morning (on and off) on our NEW New Years eve tradition.  A FAMILY TIME Capsule.  In it we are including:

• Pictures of special things we want to remember
• Scroll with jotted notes of 2010 FOND family memories
• Each boy included a drawing
• Brian and I are writing letters and prayers for our children
• Each of us wrote a little note to our “secret Santa buddy” 2010
• Our Disneyland passes for 2010
• Money for dinner for new years eve next year 🙂 
• Writing down things that the Lord has taught us this year
• Garfield Comic Strip
• Traced hand prints
• Favorite Bible verses this year
• New commitments (family and personal)
• A short home dvd of us sharing some things

Might come up with more ideas as the day goes on. For now we used a POPCORN TIN and spray painted it GOLD.  We thought it would be fun to burry, but don’t want the stuff to get ruined in it, so we may just hide it in the attic.  We will bring it out New Years Eve 2011 and read everything and then keep the stuff in our scrapbook prayer journal.

Such a fun new tradition for the family!
