It seems as though every month just zooms by! Wish it wouldn’t.  Gideon
is propped up in this cute picnic basket that Cheryl gave us for a wedding or
bridal shower gift.  I know, I know he’s got baby food on his teeth.  Oh well… something we will remember 🙂   Gideon still cannot sit up on his own.  We had
our first therapy appointments on Thursday and Friday this past week.  We
have some strengthening exercises to work on with him daily.  He did sit
in this high chair (a better more supportive one for him) and was able to use
his little fingers and pick up cheerios and eat them.  He hasn’t done this
yet, so it was neat to see that.  We just ordered a high chair that can
hook to a chair like the one she used.  It should help him.  We have
no way of knowing if he is behind because of the seizures or not.  It
really doesn’t matter but we feel it is a good thing to do the therapy to get
him where he should be at this stage. 

– 6 teeth
-still got the red hair, love it!
-nurses 6-7 times a day and lately some in the night when he wakes.  He loves foods in his little net thing, and baby food too.

-size #3 diapers

-gets up on knees and looks like he’ll crawl soon.  Wonder if he’ll
crawl before he sits?!

-he really loves Mommy and looks for me when anyone else has him. 

-He laughs and smiles a lot.

-rolls all over the place

-still sleeps in with Mommy and Daddy

-been waking now for a week or so every couple hours.  We aren’t sure
why? He had an ear infection, so I’m wondering if maybe that didn’t clear up
all the way? Doesn’t seem to be getting another tooth, that I can see?

-we will be seeing the neurologist this month to have a checkup.  One
thing I want to ask is if the dose of Keppra he is on is the right dose for him
to prevent seizures? And if so should we do an overnight EEG on him to check
for seizure activity? Also, at what point will we wean him off the medication?
