We had a nice little day trip.  Played tennis and had a picnic at a park in Ojai.  I’m anxious to go play tennis with Brian sometime again (maybe wearing the right shoes too! )

 Gregory and Adam have been enjoying doing this over the summer in Fillmore so it was fun to all get to play.  Funny thing though…. how pictures are deceiving! Gideon was the GRUMP.  He started crying when we went to the old book store and well…. he just wasn’t happy at the park or beach most of the time.  Gideon still takes a morning nap most days and he pretty much was overtired but never fell asleep in the car.

 Picnic at the park.  Gideon fell (he’s so clumsy and extra clumsy when he’s tired).  Lots of crying…. but of course… we don’t take pictures of that 🙂 HA HA!

 A visit to an old fashioned ice cream shop for shakes.  YUM!

 We went from HOT HOT in Ojai to freezing cold at the beach! Didn’t stay long.  Again, Gideon was so tired! It was great that Grandma Hoefler could join in our crazy fun! After we got home we all lounged and watched CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN!
