Brian and I have decided to go ahead and take Gideon in to see a ENT. He’s got another ear infection. He’s not talking. He just doesn’t seem to be making a HUGE amount of progress with speech so we will see an ENT on Thursday and see what he says.
Gideon is a SMART boy! He’s just not talking. He matches thing, he sorts colors, he loves lego duplo blocks and making things with them, he loves books, he is just getting frustrated (as we all are) that he can’t use language to communicate.
We just found out that his neurologist Dr. Morrison will be retiring. So we are taking Dr. Golds suggestion and going to try to get in with Dr. Carter in Santa Barbara. She is NOT SEEING new patients until maybe January. We are faxing over all our information and files for her to have on hand so hopefully she will see us in Jan.
Thanks for keeping us posted on him! I'll be praying for the ear infections and the speech! I know how frustrating it is when they just cant say what they want too and we're trying to hard to understand them! Paytin is prone to ear infections too and aren't they miserable?! Lots of love to you all!
