Brian did a nice job using all wood we had around the house to build another sandbox  (and painted it using paint we had too).  The old one was a MESS and was rotting out at the bottom and we were ready to move it.  I do kind of miss it being RIGHT out in front of my kitchen window because I loved watching them play in it there as I cleaned the kitchen.  However, I think in the end this was a good use of this space and we are working on cleaning up the area where it used to be.  We have a few ideas to fix up the back yard.  We just need some TIME to do these things! ha ha!

Three of the boys just love the sandbox.  Gideon and Luke especially.  They have all spent hours playing in the new sand box already!
