We have always tried to have a weekly date night and we switch off monthly on planning a “surprise” date for the other.  Brian had really outdone himself with this one! He planned a little mini get-a-way a few months back.  Took me to SOLVANG for an overnight trip.  I didn’t know where we were going until we ALMOST got there.  He gave me clues. 

Funny thing………… we haven’t ACTUALLY STAYED here in this same room before.  Neither of us knew until we started looking around and our memory was jogged.  It was named something different.  So funny he picked the SAME ROOM! Loved the bath tub!

Got a new outfit for our OUTDOOR play that we saw.  OKLAHOMA

Didn’t bring my camera.  So we settle for some cell phone shots!

The play was so much fun! Laughs, dancing, singing.  Lots of fun.

Breakfast included.  Yum!

Fed ostriches on the way home. 

It went fast but it was so nice.  Hannah did great with the boys at home (with Gregory’s help).  I really needed this get away.  Something it just helps you appreciate things more too! Loved my time with Brian and can’t wait to do it again in September!!!!! Donna offered to watch the kids so we can go for our 15th anniversary.
